Construction Centres

We have specialist workshops for each trade, equipped with industry standard tools and equipment, as well as a range of IT suites.

Small Animal Centre

Beautifully located in the Monmouthshire countryside, the animal care centre is home to over 200 animals including reptiles, mammals, birds and invertebrates.

Usk Farm

Coleg Gwent’s fully operational farm at the Usk campus is a 296-acre estate, home to a 200-strong dairy herd, 250 sheep and a range of other farm animals.

Welsh for Adults

Coleg Gwent runs a variety of courses on behalf of the National Centre for Learning Welsh in Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen.

Hair and Beauty Salons

Whether you need a tension-busting massage, want to recreate yourself with a restyle or simply be pampered with a choice of over 30 beauty treatments, our trainee stylists and beauty therapists at Blŵm Hair and Beauty will make you feel and look fantastic.

Equestrian Centre

Coleg Gwent’s Equestrian Centre at our Usk Campus regularly runs equine events and is also available for hire. Regular events include unaffiliated dressage and show jumping for all ages and abilities. Events take place throughout the year and are open to the public.

Automotive Technician Accreditation (ATA) Centre

The ATA Centre at our Newport campus has some of the best facilities anywhere in the country, including a body shop, prep room, spray booth and engineering workshops.

Adult Skills Centre

The facilities at Coleg Gwent’s Adult Skills Centre in Usk offer adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities everything they need to develop skills, socialise with others and fulfil their potential.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) provides you with an opportunity to gain recognition for previous relevant academic achievements and allows credits to be transferred to the new course to avoid the duplication of previous learning.
