In a nutshell

PA6 is needed by anyone wishing to apply pesticides using a handheld lance or knapsack type applicator. The lance may be vehicle-mounted e.g. on a tractor or ATV.

Course content

This training provides essential knowledge for the correct application of pesticide with knapsack sprayer:

  • The setting and checking of equipment
  • Measuring areas
  • Calibrating equipment
  • Mix and measure chemicals
  • Cleaning and storing equipment

Entry Requirements

Achieved Pesticide Application (PA1).

Additional information

This is a 3 day course (2 days training and 1 day assessment).

You’ll study via in-class and practical learning.
