In a nutshell
“Illustration is writing with pictures”
This short course is designed to enable you to thrive and enjoy regular drawing practice. Over five weeks you will learn the fundamentals of illustration which will include; expressive mark making, life drawing, landscape drawing. As part of this course, you will also be taught the fundamentals of digital illustration which will be informed by the traditional skills you have gained.

Course content
During this part time course, you'll cover many aspects of illustration such as: drawing using perspective, mark making, using different traditional and digital media to create an illustration, how to develop a sketch to a finish piece and basic colour theory.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
You will need to attend regularly and have an enthusiasm for art.
