Mae’r cwrs hwn wedi’i ddylunio i’ch helpu i ymgymryd ag amrywiaeth o dechnegau a gweithdrefnau weldio yn ddiogel, gan roi dealltwriaeth fanwl i chi o’r prosesau weldio, eu cymwysiadau a’r cyfarpar, y deunyddiau a’r deunyddiad traul a ddefnyddir, er mwyn i chi allu gweithio yn unol â manylebau a safonau’r diwydiant peirianneg.
Unrhyw un sy’n dymuno dilyn gyrfa fel weldiwr ym meysydd peirianneg neu weithgynhyrchu.
Mae’r cwrs yn cynnwys prosesau weldio Gwarchod Nwy Gweithredol/Anweithredol Metel (MAGS/MIGS), Arc Metel â Llaw (MMA) a Gwarchod Nwy Gweithredol/Anweithredol Tungsten (TAGS/TIGS). Bydd angen i chi gwblhau ystod o gymalau weldio mewn amrywiaeth o safleoedd weldio i safon weldio BSEN 4872. Yna, caiff y cymalau wedi’u weldio hyn eu profi gan amrywiaeth o brofion i’w dinistrio cyn iddynt gael eu hasesu yn weledol gan yr aseswr.
You will learn how to recognise and identify basic welding defects, how to rectify and prevent any faults that can occur, and how to adjust and set the conditions for welding in line with relevant specifications and weld procedures.
You will also need to prepare for welding by obtaining the necessary job instructions, materials, tools, equipment and any documentation, check and inspect the welding equipment to make sure its in a safe working condition and suitable for the welding to be undertaken.
On completing this course, you could move on to NVQ Fabrication & Welding Level 2 or City & Guilds Advanced Welding Level 2.
