An apprenticeship in Engineering Maintenance is a 2 year course where you are employed and attend college 1 day/week.
A Level 3 Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering apprenticeship provides advanced vocational training, equivalent to A-levels, to develop specialized skills in producing complex mechanical components and assemblies. Apprentices learn to operate machinery and equipment to precise specifications, specializing in roles such as Engineering Fitter or Technician, with career progression to degree apprenticeships and higher technical positions.

5 GCSEs at grade C or above including a C in English or Welsh Language and a B in Maths, along with three other Cs (preferably Science or related subjects), or to have successfully completed an appropriate Level 2 qualification with a Merit profile. More mature learners will be considered based on entry qualifications and/or your experience.
A Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering is completed in the workplace. The Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Technologies or BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Engineering is completed part-time at the College.
