Today is ‘Wear Red Day’ and we’re doing exactly that to demonstrate our support in showing racism the red card. At Coleg Gwent, we’re committed to making a stand and doing our bit to drive positive and impactful change, in line with Welsh Government’s vision of an anti-racist Wales.

Every year, hundreds of adult learners join Coleg Gwent to change their story through free and flexible courses. This Adult Learners Week, we met some of our mature students to hear their stories and find out why they joined Coleg Gwent this September.

The Automotive and Engineering sector has come a long way in recent years, so, at Coleg Gwent, we’re shifting our focus to set you up for the future. We’ve developed our curriculum and invested in new facilities so you can learn the skills you need for success.

This week, we launched our inspiring ‘Partnership Pledge’, aimed at strengthening our industry links and engaging with local employers.

This September, we’re launching an exciting new pilot scheme offering Engage to Change Gwent supported internships for our Independent Living Skills (ILS) learners at Crosskeys Campus, in conjunction with Elite Supported Employment Agency and our local Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB).
