The course, which prepares students for a Medical Pathway Degree is the first of its kind in Wales.

At Coleg Gwent, we’re celebrating incredible pass rates for the class of 2023. This year, we’ve seen an outstanding 92% pass rate for GCSE Maths, (6.5% above previous year), and an impressive 97% pass rate for GCSE English (4% above previous year).

Today is a day of celebration for the students at Coleg Gwent, as they receive their BTEC, AS, and A-Level results. Our campuses are buzzing with excitement as hundreds of students gather for the annual Farewell Festival.

Students at Coleg Gwent - one of Wales’ top performing colleges - are celebrating today (August 17) as they collect the BTEC, AS and A-Level results needed to take their very first steps into higher education and new careers.

At Coleg Gwent, female students are encouraged and motivated to pursue a future in ICT. Meet three students who are breaking gender stereotypes by studying ICT-based subjects with the aim of building careers in technology.
