We’ve grouped together our A-Level subjects into career pathways, containing complementary subjects to help you choose the best courses for your career goal. Take a look at our fact sheets below.

A-Level Pathways are designed to move you a step closer to your future goals. At Coleg Gwent we offer unique study programmes entirely focused on providing you with the latest skills, experiences and qualifications to enable you to pursue a career or University degree in a particular area of interest.

You will need to choose a minimum of 3 or 4 A-Level subjects. It is important when choosing your A-Level combinations to choose the right subjects for the career that you will want to pursue.

During our A-Level Pathways week in July, we’ll be sharing useful tips and information to help you to choose the right cluster of subjects that align with your preferred career path.  Not sure what direction you want to go in yet?  Pathways week is about helping you decide and set you up for success.

To help guide you on your journey, we’re hosting a series of live events in July, which will give you the opportunity to learn more about the subjects you’re interested in.

Here’s why you should attend:

  • Opportunity to choose the best cluster of subjects for your chosen career goals
  • Learn more about the opportunities you can unlock through your chosen subjects
  • Meet your tutors and get your questions answered
  • Learn more about the enrichment activities and experiences that will complement your studies such as trips, clubs and societies available to you
