In a nutshell

This is a fun and creative taught course which offers you the opportunity to explore a variety of surface application and decoration techniques.

You will design,decorate and make a variety of iles and plates using slip transfers, screen printing, rice paper transfers, sgraffito & mishima, slips foliage and mono prints.

This course is for you if...

... Someone with a keen interest in ceramics and wants to learn application techniques

... A complete beginner or intermediate skills

... Someone with some experience and wanting to expand on their skills.

What will I be doing?

Each week, you'll have the opportunity to widen your experience of surface application in ceramics.

Please see our other courses for hand building,throwing,press moulding and sculpting.

You'll dveelop your skills through demonstrations and instrution.

On completion of this course, you'll have learnt a variety of skills that you can develop and build on. You will also have a collection of tiles and plates for your portfolio and you can take them home with you.
