Courses for 14-16

14-16 School Provision at Coleg Gwent, South Wales

Courses for 14-16

All Coleg Gwent campuses deliver courses to 14-16 year-old local school pupils, broadening the range of practical subjects young people can study.  Pupils come into college for anything from a few hours a week to up to four days a week, and gain nationally recognised qualifications alongside the subjects they study in school.

As well as getting a taste of college life, pupils develop the practical skills that employers are currently looking for and many of them go on to be full time students at Coleg Gwent or become Apprentices.

How do I get involved?

If you’re a school pupil: you need a referral from your school – speak to one of your teachers to see if we work with your school.

If you work in a school: contact your local Coleg Gwent campus so we can discuss how we can work together.
