Course Overview
This course is for candidates who have previously passed the full Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme or subsequent refresher course and can provide proof of attendance.
It aims to bring health and safety knowledge up to date and give a thorough overview of legislative changes and their impact in the workplace.
…anyone currently holding a valid Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme certificate that is due to expire.
This 1-day course provides an opportunity to revisit the wide range of topics from the 2-day course including:
- Health and Safety at Work Act.
- Current enforcement priorities / HSE / Environment.
- Fire risk and emergency procedures and reporting.
- Best practice updates on Noise and vibration, Dermatitis, Asbestos, Drugs and alcohol and Stress factors.
- Dynamic risk assessment procedures.
- Hazardous substances.
- Working at heights.
- Manual handling.
- Toolbox Talks.
You’ll be assessed on your participation throughout the course, including a 25-question exam with multiple choice questions and short written answers.
Full attendance is mandatory.
Candidates must hold a Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme certificate valid for the training.
Candidates must be competent in written and spoken English necessary for operating efficiently at site supervisory level.
The standard cost for this course is £195.
