This course provides you with an advanced introduction to the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors.

You’ll develop the fundamental skills of the industry, along with a more specialist set of skills. The course units are:
- Customer Service in Travel and Tourism
 - The UK Travel and Tourism Industry
 - Travel and Tourism Destinations
 - Hospitality in Travel and Tourism
 - Organising An Event
 - Work Experience in Travel and Tourism
 - Introduction to Guided Tours
 - Know about Airports and Airlines
 
Upon completion of the course, you’ll gain the following qualifications:
- Level 2 Diploma in Travel and Tourism
 - Appropriate supporting qualifications to broaden your skill set and meet the needs of industry
 - Skills Activities
 - Maths and English (if you haven’t achieved a Grade C or above at GCSE level)
 
To enter the course, you’ll need a minimum of 4 GCSEs grade D or above to include either Maths/Numeracy or English/Welsh 1st Language; or an appropriate Level 1 Diploma qualification in the relevant vocational area to include either GCSE Maths/Numeracy or English/Welsh 1st Language grade.
You must show an enthusiasm for the travel and tourism industry. You’ll need to be self-motivated, hardworking, numerate and have a friendly personality. Attendance and punctuality for all sessions is a major requirement of this course.
NCFE Level 3 Introductory Diploma in Travel and Tourism
NCFE Level 3 Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism
Minimum of 4 GCSEs grade D or above to include either Maths/Numeracy or English/Welsh 1st Language; or an appropriate Level 1 Diploma qualification in the relevant vocational area to include either GCSE Maths/Numeracy or English/Welsh 1st Language grade.
Full time learners will be required to purchase a uniform which will cost between £90 and £140, as well as to pay for trips and visits which will cost approximately £100.
