Course content
You’ll need to have the desire to work in construction, be fully committed to attending as well as respecting others and be self-motivated. You’ll also need to be prepared to continue your studies and coursework during your own time.
The course itself covers:
• Health and safety in building services engineering
• Principles of electrical science
• Electrical installations technology
• Installation of wiring systems and enclosures
• Understand how to communicate with others within building services engineering
You will be continually assessed through practical projects, written and online tests, before being awarded the Diploma Level 2 Electrical Installations certificate.
Entry Requirements
To enrol on this course you’ll need industrial experience and to pass an interview.
Additional information
This course could lead on to Level 3 Diploma Electrical Installations, an Apprenticeship or employment.
You need to have a desire to work in the construction industry. Full commitment to attendance is required. Respect for others, enthusiasm for the subject and self-motivation are the essential qualities we expect to see in all our learners.
