Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELCAS)

Under the Enhanced Learning Credits scheme, the ELCAS scheme is designed to assist MOD Service personnel with training that will enhance their current or future career.

This assistance is in the form of an annual payment for up to three years.

Personnel that have left the armed forced can earn up to two thirds of an undergraduate degree and up to two thirds of a masters degree, based on the training and knowledge they acquired while serving.

The scheme assesses your skills and experience, and even includes those acquired without formal training. You don’t necessarily need to have any formal qualifications such as GCSEs or A levels to start a course.

It’s a great opportunity for you to find out what possibilities exist for you and get a head start in starting a new career.

Come along to one of our open days to find out more.
