Course Overview

The VTCT Level 4 Award in Skin Peeling will prepare you for employment in the advanced aesthetic industry providing skin peeling techniques.

…those who want to introduce non-medical aesthetic treatments into their business

…those who hold a Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification or the Level 3 Certificate in Access to Aesthetic Therapies

…those who are aged 18 and over

Chemical peels, or skin peels, harness the power of naturally occurring acids and active ingredients, clinically proven to deeply exfoliate the skin, stimulate collagen production, and new cell growth and turnover, for more radiant, younger-looking skin. A natural blend of acids and enzymes, skin peels exfoliate your skin and kick-start cell turnover; this means removing the dead cells from the top layer and encouraging new cell growth, revealing the newer, smoother skin beneath. Peels also stimulate collagen and elastin production to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

The course includes:

  • Health and Safety
  • Treatment Planning
  • Classification of Peel types
  • Providing Skin Peeling treatments
  • Anatomy, physiology and pathology
  • Consultation and Aftercare

Assessment is through practical and theory examinations and clinical case studies and you will be awarded the VTCT Level 4 Award in Skin Peeling.

  • Level 4 Award in Dermaplaning
  • Level 4 Award in Skin Needling
  • Level 4 Award in Radio Frequency
  • Level 4 Award in Microblading Eyebrows
