Accreditation service for training providers

You can offer accredited courses without the costs of becoming a registered centre
Accredited courses can be more appealing to customers as they are often recognised by employers, colleges and universities, but if you’re put off by the paperwork or cost of the accreditation process, you can register your learners through Coleg Gwent at very competitive prices.
The extensive range of units and qualifications we offer means you can choose courses to suit you and your clients.  You can offer your learners a recognised QCF qualification, whilst we pick up the paperwork, and not having to worry about the expense of becoming a registered centre, means you can focus on delivering your training.
Quality you can trust
Over the last 3 years we have worked with many small and medium organisations in Wales and England, so they can be more flexible in the type of curriculum and qualifications they offer.
We have an excellent track record, evident in our recent Estyn inspection when we were awarded ‘excellent’ for quality.
Here are a few of the organisations we’re already working with:
• Torfaen DWP
• Greenfields School
• Torfaen Family Learning
• Able Radio
What our clients say
We are a social enterprise, based in Pontypool that was created to give a voice to people with disabilities. We have expanded our training department, and with the help of Coleg Gwent we have been able to work as a partnership and offer accredited courses to people with various abilities; students from schools who have gone on to further their education in college, as well as adults who are looking to gain a qualification to help them get back into work, helping to really make a difference to people’s lives.

Katrina Jones, Able Radio
Working in partnership with Coleg Gwent has allowed us to deliver vocational qualifications in our communities that we know our participants and local employers want.  We have built strong and effective working relationships with the community education team to help us achieve our goal of upskilling learners and supporting them into sustainable employment.  The support we receive is second to none.  They are always on hand to answer any queries we may have, from registering units to moderation and ensuring we register the learners in time.  They have even hand delivered our certificates!

Angela Shirlow, Torfaen Employability Project
Not only has Coleg Gwent given our learners the opportunity of achieving accreditation, it has also opened a doorway to further education.  It is never too early to start building the bridge to continuing education.

Diana O’Keefe, Lewis Girls’ School, Hengoed
The support that the Ebbw Fawr Communities First team receive from Coleg Gwent in terms of accrediting our learning related activities is invaluable.  Our team can concentrate on the delivery of activities knowing that the accreditation process is taken care of.  Coleg Gwent are a key partner for the Ebbw Fawr team in terms of the commitment within our action plan to develop learning activities for residents of the Ebbw Fawr Valley in Blaenau Gwent.
