NEW Torfaen campus

Coleg Gwent’s new Torfaen post 16 learning centre is opening in September 2020

Opening in September 2020, Coleg Gwent’s new Torfaen post 16 learning centre (name to be announced shortly) will be home to all A level education in Torfaen!

Replacing three English medium school sixth forms, the new centre will be managed by us in partnership with Torfaen council. Located next to the Morrisons supermarket in Cwmbran, the centre will provide a range of vocational qualifications, foundation degrees and the Welsh Baccalaureate, in addition to the 25 A level subjects on offer.

Why doesn’t it have a name?

After we asked you, the public, to put forward your suggestions for names earlier this year, we will be announcing the chosen name on Monday 19 November, so watch this space!
