Apply for Student Finance

Information and guidance on the financial support available for HE courses can be found on the Higher Education – Financial Support section of our website

To find out more information on the funding you can get and to make an application, visit Student Finance Wales. If you’re a learner currently living in England, please select Student Finance England. When applying for funding via Student Finance, select your mode of attendance e.g., full-time or part-time. Select the awarding university (you can find this information on the course page on our website), followed by Coleg Gwent as the campus.

Example: For a Foundation Degree in Illustration, you’d select University of South Wales, then Coleg Gwent.

Step 5

Enrol

Enrolment happens in early September. Most courses enrol online but some courses enrol in person on campus. We’ll email you the details for your course towards the end of August. Please keep an eye out for this and follow the guidance provided.
