Course Overview
This qualification is ideal if you are have management responsibilities but no formal training. It’s delivered by experienced tutors who have themselves held management positions, and training is practical, participative and linked back to the workplace.
…practising team leaders seeking to move up to the next level of management, and managers who need to lead people through organisational change, budget cuts or other pressures.
The units in this qualification cover a wide range of skills, knowledge and understanding. They can be selected by an employer to meet their training needs. Alternatively we recommend two units that will enable learners to gain the full Award:
- Understanding leadership: to develop knowledge and understanding of leadership.
- Understanding how to motivate to improve performance: to develop knowledge and understanding of motivation theory and how it can be applied in the workplace to improve performance.
Learners will receive trainer-led workshops for each unit and will produce a written assignment of 1200 words for each unit.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
This qualification is delivered on an employer’s site for a group of their employees, not on campus for individuals to attend. Delivery dates are agreed in advance with the employer.
The two units recommended above are delivered over four days. A formal quote can be issued once we understand your training need but as a guide, we charge £3,750 (includes all training, feedback and marking) plus additional awarding body fees (circa £103 per learner
