Course Overview
This qualification is designed to help you boost your performance as a team member and help you make the transition from working in a team to leading a team. It’s delivered by experienced tutors who have themselves held management positions, and training is practical, participative and linked back to the workplace.

The units in this qualification cover a wide range of skills, knowledge and understanding. They can be selected by an employer to meet their training needs. Alternatively we recommend two units that will enable learners to gain the full Award:
- Understanding effective team working: to develop skills in making sure teams work effectively.
- Planning and monitoring work: to develop understanding and ability to plan and monitor the work of the team effectively and efficiently.
Learners will receive trainer-led workshops for each unit and will produce a written assignment of 1000 words for each unit.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
This qualification is delivered on an employer’s site for a group of their employees, not on campus for individuals to attend. Delivery dates are agreed in advance with the employer.
The two units recommended above are delivered over two days. A formal quote can be issued once we understand your training need but as a guide, we charge £2,250 (includes all training, feedback and marking) plus additional awarding body fees (circa £101 per learner).
