Course Overview
This qualification allows candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills required for maintenance within a domestic premises.

…those wishing to expand their understanding of construction around the home
You will gain an understanding and some practical experience of the variety of trades in the construction industry, selected from the following trades:
- Bricklaying
- Carpentry and joinery
- Plastering
- Painting and decorating
- Tiling
- Electrical
- Plumbing
Practical sessions take place in fully equipped workshops, supported by theoretical sessions to provide underpinning knowledge and understanding.
There are no formal entry requirements.
Upon completion, learners can progress onto higher level construction qualifications.
