Course Overview

This course is for anyone wishing to study Electrical Installations- Inspection and Testing/Initial Verification.

This is a bolt on course, an add on to the Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification. It is aimed at qualified electricians/supervisors who have experience in inspection and testing and certifying electrical installations. This course is for Inspection and Testing only.

One online multiple-choice examination and two practical inspection and testing assessments. Pre-Course learning is essential. You must have a working knowledge of BS7671 and Guidance Note 3.

This is a bolt on course, an add on to the Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification.

The Course requirements are; preferably L3 in Electrical Installation. However, a Level 2 qualification may be allowed providing the potential student is actively working in the electrical Installation industry and undertaking test and inspection in the work place.

Course dates will be discussed during the application process. This course is run through our Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone campus. An interview is required before allowing anyone on this course.
