Course content
Technical training is provided in the college 1 day per week, including time in practical workshops.
You'll take part in:
- Completion of a portfolio of evidence
- Work based observations
- Theory based tasks and tests
- AM2 final competence exam
Entry Requirements
Minimum of 3 GCSE Grade A*-C in English or Welsh, Mathematics and either a Science or Technology based qualification. You should have achieved a Level 1 or Level 2 post-16 qualification in Construction or have at least one year of life skills gained after compulsory education. Apprentices must have an employer who can cover the apprenticeship qualification criteria.
