Coleg Gwent officially incorporated in 1992 as the result of the merger between Further and Tertiary education in Gwent
2010
New 13m Crosskeys Campus X Block building officially opened
2012
Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone officially opened, replacing the college’s old Ebbw Vale campus and becoming the centre for post-16 education in Blaenau Gwent

College amongst the best in Wales following ‘Good’ rating by Estyn, the office of Her Majesty's Inspectorate for Education and Training in Wales.

Coleg Gwent becomes the first college in Wales to launch a Baxi Academy renewable energy training centre
