Course content
The course consists of several elements:
- Knowledge and understanding including the history and origins of kettlebell training, the benefits of using kettlebells, health and safety considerations and how to incorporate kettlebell training into resistance sessions
- Planning Kettlebell training sessions
- Instructing Kettlebell training sessions
- Skills including how to prepare, plan and instruct kettlebell training sessions and effective communication
You’ll need to be self-motivated, hardworking and committed, with an interest in instructing kettlebells.
You’ll be assessed using a combination of a portfolio of evidence, project/assignment and practical assessment, and on completing the course you could move on to Level 2 Fitness Instructors and Level 3 Personal Trainers Continuing Professional Development (CPD), Level 2 Circuits qualification or Level 3 Sports Massage Therapy qualification.
Entry Requirements
To take this course you’ll need a Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification.
