This two term preparing to teach course has been developed as a teaching toolkit to give you a taster before deciding if this is a career for you.

- Introduction to the Module
- Role of the Tutor
- How Adults Learn
- Good & Bad Learning Experiences
- Developing Aims & Objectives
- Principles of Adult Learning
- Lesson Planning
- Working with Groups
- Teaching Methods & AVAs
- Dealing with Difficult Learner Behaviour
- Assessing Learning
