If you’ve ever wanted to have the ability to fix a laptop or PC, now’s your chance! This course is the ideal introduction to solving hardware and software problems, opening up the world of computing and systems support.

Course content

This is a practical course covering various aspects of fixing laptops and PCs, covering:

  • Troubleshooting common issues with PCs
  • Using recognised fixes for the most common errors
  • Maintaining and optimising the performance of your PC
  • Problem solving

There’s a formal practical test at the end of the course to demonstrate understanding, which will allow you to receive a Coleg Gwent certificate.

All you need is an interest in this area and a willingness to learn.
