What will I be doing?
This course is ideal if you do not have any formal qualifications and are looking for an entry level course. It would benefit learners who find a typical classroom environment challenging and would need an introductory course designed to encompass their individual needs, providing them with academic study in a safe and nurturing environment before they progress onto Level 1 courses.
A green room (quiet room) is available for learners who need some time out of the lesson or are in need of extra pastoral support. The green room is supervised at all times by a learning coach with experience in pastoral support.
Students will receive, depending on their programme of study, a diploma, certificate or award in City & Guilds Entry Level Employability and Personal Development.
Areas covered are:
- Literacy and numeracy skills
- Employability skills
- Projects around soft skills such as confidence building, relationships, attendance and inclusion
What is expected of me?
Full commitment to attendance and respect for others are the essential qualities we expect to see in learners on this course.

- Entry Level 3 Employability and Personal Development
- Appropriate supporting qualification/s where applicable to tailor the programme content to meet specific needs of the community, learner or industry
All assessment is assignment based.
