In a nutshell
Capturing drone footage is merely stage one. This course teaches you how to take your moving images and photographs through the post-production stages to create professional products for the client.
This course is for...
Those with an interest in drones and aerial imagery.
Using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite to process your aerial shots, you will have a unique opportunity of studying the following:
Understanding workflow – gain an understanding of how all of the production stages work to maximise the best edit.
Ingesting – how to manage the rushes, store them and import your footage into the Adobe Creative Suite.
Selection and cutting – how to select the best shots and use all of the tools available to produce the best output.
Colour correction/grading – adjusting and manipulating your images to maximise their potential for a client.
Applying effects and transitions – a basic look at the most useful and commonly used effects and transitions.
Applying audio – an insight into the relationship between audio and visual materials, and demonstrate how to mix them professionally.
Exporting – understand the best settings and codecs for your desired platform.
Uploading and sharing – how to present your product to a client.
The course will be a mixture of theoretical seminars and practical applications. You will have access to state of the art editing suites and will be able to manipulate your own drone footage. If appropriate (and weather permitting), there may be an opportunity to capture additional footage with our PfCO trained instructors and lecturers.
The course can be accessed in many different ways. It can be:
- A one day stand alone course
- A continuation from our Drone Flying Masterclass course.
There are no formal entry requirements.
It is possible that we may need to take you on location to acquire suitable drone footage. Please wear appropriate clothing for the season (including sensible shoes) and a pair of sunglasses.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided in a break out room.
You may wish to bring the following:
