What will I be doing?
This course is ideal for anyone looking for an introduction to the plumbing industry who wishes to undertake a course which will act as a pathway to further studies in this area. It’ll give you the opportunity to pick up some core skills and knowledge, along with the opportunity to progress onto either our Level 2 or 3 plumbing qualifications.
The course is delivered by both practical sessions with excellent workshop facilities and theory lessons to underpin the knowledge learnt in the practical sessions.
You'll be assessed through practical projects, written and online tests. Once complete, you’ll achieve:
What is expected of me?
To enter the course, you’ll need a minimum of 4 GCSEs, Grade E or above, to include Maths/Maths Numeracy and English/Welsh First Language or an appropriate Entry Level qualification.
You need to have a desire to work in the construction industry. Full commitment to attendance is required, as is respect for others, enthusiasm for the subject and self-motivation. You’ll be continually assessed and there is an expectation that you’ll continue your studies and coursework during your own time.
What comes next?
