In a nutshell
Vehicles and their associated systems are constantly becoming more complex. The ever-advancing technology of modern vehicles requires suitably trained and competent technicians to work on these vehicles.
This Level 1 course provides an introductory understanding in this vocational area. It is ideal for learners who wish to progress onto a Diploma or Extended Diploma course in Motor Vehicle Engineering, an Enhanced Engineering Programme or follow an apprenticeship in the industry after further study.

What will I be doing?

What is expected of me?
To enter this course, you’ll need to have previously completed an Entry Level 3 course or hold 4 GCSEs – 2 GCSE at grade D (ideally Maths and English) and at least 2 GCSE at D-G grades.
Full commitment to attendance is required, as is the ability to work independently, safely, professionally and as part of a team.
You should have a strong desire to work in the motor vehicle industry, abide by the college ethos, always bring the required course equipment and be willing to participate in improving your level of academic subjects.
