The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) introduced in 2018 affect how any business can use its customers’ data – so this course is ideal whether you run your own business, or are a more established organisation needing to bring your staff up to date.

…anyone working in a business that handles and processes personal information of individuals within the European Union (EU).
This half-day (3 hour) course will build a picture of what you need to do in your business to comply with GDPR, covering areas such as:
- GDPR responsibilities
- GDPR definitions
- The main points you need to be aware of to ensure GDPR compliance
- Breach notifications
- Data Governance
The course is built around:
- Power point presentation
- Workbooks – individual and personal copies to build a plan for your business
- Journal record booklet – allowing you to record the action being taken within your busines
Everyone attending the course will receive a certificate of attendance.
There are no formal entry requirements.
This is not currently an open course, but offered as a group session at your company’s premises – ask us for a quotation.
Due to current limitations, payment can only be made via bank transfer.
