The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) introduced in 2018 affect how any business can use its customers’ data – so this course is ideal whether you run your own business, or are a more established organisation needing to bring your staff up to date.

Course content

This half-day (3 hour) course will build a picture of what you need to do in your business to comply with GDPR, covering areas such as:

  • GDPR responsibilities
  • GDPR definitions
  • The main points you need to be aware of to ensure GDPR compliance
  • Breach notifications
  • Data Governance

The course is built around:

  • Power point presentation
  • Workbooks – individual and personal copies to build a plan for your business
  • Journal record booklet – allowing you to record the action being taken within your busines

Everyone attending the course will receive a certificate of attendance.
