ASDAN Independent Living Skills Level Entry 2
In a nutshell
If you’re aged 19 or over and want to improve your life and work skills to become more confident and independent, this part-time course is ideal. You can attend the course by yourself, or with a support worker if appropriate.
This course is for...
…anyone wanting the confidence and independence to apply and be successfully employed in voluntary or paid work.
The aim of this course is to help you increase your confidence and prepare you with the skills needed to apply for voluntary or paid job opportunities. You’ll study the Entry Level 2 EDEXCEL Award in Skills for Independence, which covers a wide range of topics alongside many other essential life and work skills including:
- Applying for jobs
- Interview skills
- Health and safety
- Money management
- Independent travel skills
- Creative arts
- Personal and social development
On successful completion of the course, you can progress on to Entry Level 2 EDEXCEL Certificate in Skills for Independence or voluntary or paid employment.
There are no formal entry requirements.
