You could be an amateur photographer looking to improve your digital manipulation skills, or you might be looking to enhance your CV.
Photoshop skills are increasingly useful in a variety of different job roles and this course will leave you with the ability to edit and manipulate photographs effectively at home or in the workplace.
You don 't need any prior knowledge of Adobe Photoshop as this course starts at the very beginning. By the end of the course you will have a good knowledge of Photoshop techniques and processes.
Each ninety-minute session will introduce a variety of Photoshop features and the techniques to use them. There will then be a classroom task using this technique to produce a practical outcome with individual tutor support.
All images will be supplied for classroom use but you will be actively encouraged to bring in your own images too. It is recommended that you bring a USB stick or portable hard drive to save your finished images to take away.

- Black and white processing
- Exploring filters and history
- Cropping and resizing
- Retouching Images
- Sharpening images
- Working with Layers and masks
You will be expected to have a basic knowledge of computers to enrol on this course. An enthusiastic interest in digital photography is essential.
There are no formal entry requirements to enrol on this course.
This course is delivered at Crosskeys Campus, 12 X 1.5 hour sessions.
