If you’ve chosen a career in electrics, this course will further develop the technical skills you gained at Level 2, and the qualification is recognised by the electro technical industry as competency of carrying out an electrical role.

…anyone interested in a career as an electrical installer in domestic dwellings who’s already achieved the Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations.

Course content

You’ll need to have an interest in the subject, be fully committed to attending as well as respecting others and be self-motivated. You’ll also need to be prepared to continue your studies and coursework during your own time.

The course covers electrical installation of buildings and structures, health and safety legislation, planning and fault finding. You’ll be assessed through a combination of written and practical examinations before being awarded the Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification, which could lead you on to anApprenticeship or further technical qualifications.

Entry Requirements

You should have achieved the Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installation before starting this course.
