In a nutshell
This course is designed to help you explore different types of make-up in a creative way, looking at its history, design inspiration and how to create the look you want to achieve.
This course is for...
…anyone with a creative flair for make-up, an interest in theatre or film make-up, or who would like to follow a career in the industry.
This is a hands-on creative course, looking at various aspects of make-up design including:
- Period make-up – research the history of make-up and design a make-up theme from the 18th Century, 1920s, 1950s and 1960s.
- Fantasy make-up – research inspiration, design and create a fantasy make-up which must include adornments, costume and hair.
- Bridal make-up – identify products used and application of different styles of bridal make-up.
No formal qualifications are required but you must have an interest in artistic and creative activities.
You’ll be expected to buy a uniform and kit as a condition of your place on the course which will cost approximately £260.00.
After booking your course you have 14 days to change your mind and request a full refund. You can still request a refund after this date, but this will only be given if you meet the criteria from the college fee policy.
If your chosen course starts within 14 days of you booking your place, then the 14 day refund policy does not apply and any refund will be subject to the college fee policy.
All courses may be subject to change and cancelled if deemed not viable to run.
