In a nutshell
For those with a creative streak, this course is an ideal opportunity to discover how to design and apply body art using a variety of body paints, body gems, glitters, sequins and other adornments.

Course content
With the VTCT Level 2 Award in Body Art Design you’ll learn about the creative process, including how to develop and present a mood board and use techniques such as colour correction, blending, highlighting, shading, sculpting, concealing and camouflage.
The course also looks at the products and equipment used to create a 2D image on a 3D surface and other topics such as consultation, safe and hygienic working practices and aftercare advice.
After successfully completing this course, you could move on to VTCT Level 3 Award in Media Make Up or Level 3 Award in Cosmetic Camouflage.
Entry Requirements
No formal qualifications are required but you’ll need to have an interest in artistic and creative activities.

You’ll be expected to buy a uniform and kit as a condition of your place on the course.
