In a nutshell
This part-time course is aimed at adults who wish to train in skills for the Beauty sector.
This course is for you if...
... You are an adult who is seeking to retrain for a career in Beauty Therapy
... You are interested in working with people to support their wellbeing, and enjoy detailed and creative work.
What will I be doing?
You will be introduced to the theoretical underpinning knowledge and skills across the Beauty sector. This includes skin care and facials, manicure and pedicure, make-up, eyebrow and eyelash tinting and waxing. The course is assessed via multiple-choice texts, assignment work and practical assessments.
What is expected of me?
Learners should be commited to full attendance and keen to practice and develop their skills in the range of disciplines covered in the course. You will need to revise theory and work on assignments outside of college hours. Beauty learners benefit from practicing regularly to perfect their skills.
What comes next?
Learners can progress to Level 3 Beauty Therapy.
Learners will be expected to buy a uniform and kit for the course. Costs are approximately £250. Futher details will be sent out near the start of the course. It is an important part of Beauty for learners to bring clients into the treatment rooms for practising and assessment.
After booking your course you have 14 days to change your mind and request a full refund. You can still request a refund after this date, but this will only be given if you meet the criteria from the college fee policy.
If your chosen course starts within 14 days of you booking your place, then the 14 day refund policy does not apply and any refund will be subject to the college fee policy.
