Course content
In addition to developing your practical skills, you will obtain a sound knowledge of health and safety, client care and communication and anatomy and physiology.
The units covered in this course include:
- Client care and communication
- Health and Safety Practices in the salon
- Indian Head Massage
- Promote and sell products and services
You will develop your skills in providing Indian Head Massage treatments to a high standard and this will enable you to provide your own services for clients in a clinic or on a self-employed basis.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements however, good communication skills and a commitment to the course is essential.
Additional information
The qualification is approved and supported by BABTAC and is representative of employers in the sector.
On completion of the course there are opportunities for you to progress onto other Complementary Therapy evening courses such as:
- Aromatherapy
- Reflexology
- Hot Stone Massage
- Body Massage
You will be required to wear black trousers, a black T-shirt and sensible black shoes however, a clinic uniform is available if you wish to purchase one. Information will be provided on the first evening of the course.
After booking your course you have 14 days to change your mind and request a full refund. You can still request a refund after this date, but this will only be given if you meet the criteria from the college fee policy.
If your chosen course starts within 14 days of you booking your place, then the 14 day refund policy does not apply and any refund will be subject to the college fee policy.
All courses may be subject to change and cancelled if deemed not viable to run.
