In a nutshell
This qualification will develop your practical skills to a high level of occupational ability to enable you to provide shaping and colouring treatments for the eyelashes and eyebrows.
This qualification is approved and supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), the standard setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa qualifications.

Course content
The VTCT Level 2 Award in Eyelash and Eyebrow Treatments is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in shaping (tweezers) and colouring (tinting eyelashes and eyebrows).
You will learn how to maintain the original eyebrow shape or to change the shape of the eyebrow if desired. You will also learn about different colour characteristics and the chemical process of tinting.
This course is ideal for those wishing to get a taster of being a lash technician and also a good starting place to step into that career.
Throughout the course you will be assessed by a combination of short assignments and practical assessments of your work.
Entry Requirements
This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 years and over.
You will be expected to have an interest or be working in the beauty industry.
Additional information
Code of dress:
- Tunic with black trousers and black shoes must be worn in salons
- Hair must be neatly tied back off the face
- Nail extensions & varnish must not be worn
- No piercings: only a wedding ring is allowed to be worn in the salon
You will be expected to wear your beauty industry uniform or appropriate clothing and purchase a tinting kit as a condition of your place on the course. The cost of this is approximately £30-£50.

After booking your course you have 14 days to change your mind and request a full refund. You can still request a refund after this date, but this will only be given if you meet the criteria from the college fee policy.
If your chosen course starts within 14 days of you booking your place, then the 14 day refund policy does not apply and any refund will be subject to the college fee policy.
