Coleg Gwent has welcomed the decision made by Blaenau Gwent Council’s Executive Committee to agree the exciting proposals that could bring £111 million of investment into state-of-the-art education facilities at The Works: Ebbw Vale.
Coleg Gwent Principal Jim Bennett says: “The College is delighted with the decision taken today. We have been very supportive of the recommendations put forward by the Council, particularly on the proposals for post 16 education, and I am looking forward to engaging with our partners in planning the next stages of this exciting project.
This development will provide a fantastic facility for all learners in Blaenau Gwent, and will help tackle some of the issues facing the community.”
